Appearance: Amber-coloured, crystal-clear Nose: The nose combines malty and toasted cereals with woody and resinous notes, underpinned by a hint of peat. Palate: The palate, of medium intensity, reveals pastry-like notes of almond and sweet spices, before the woody character comes to the fore. The palate, concentrated and rather dry, remains balanced and well-integrated. The long finish is characterised by a lingering peaty smokiness. Overall impression: A balanced and precise whisky, where the malt, woodiness and a measured touch of peat harmonise to create a long, smoky finish.
