Appearance: Shiny, coppery amber Nose: The nose opens with orange peel and caramel, underpinned by dried fruit. Palate: On the palate, it is smooth and round, developing notes of honey, vanilla and hazelnut against a distinct oaky backdrop. The rounded, barely dry tannins and a slight warmth are well balanced by the ripe fruit. The finish is long and balanced. Overall impression: A smooth and harmonious wine, where orange and caramel blend with well-integrated oak right through to a long finish.
