The body is medium, the alcohol is well integrated, and a slight astringency provides a balanced structure to the whole. The finish is quite long, lingering with a hint of spice. Overall impression: A smooth, rounded whisky, where the caramelised and fruity notes rest on a malty base, with the alcohol well integrated.
