Appearance: Bright golden amber. Nose: The aromas reveal notes of honeyed apricots and orange peel, supported by cinnamon, vanilla and caramel, with hints of toasted cereal and a touch of wood. Palate: The attack reveals rich flavours of butterscotch and vanilla, accompanied by baked apples and apricots, enriched by the complexity of sultanas. The texture is well rounded and warm, though at times slightly drying. The finish is satisfyingly long, with notes of coconut and a delicate woody influence. Overall impression: An accessible, well-structured spirit, rich but elegant, with good balance despite some unevenness in consistency.
