Palate: The attack, warm and honeyed, gives way to pronounced oak notes, enhanced by toasted nuts and a hint of chocolate. The texture is dense and creamy, almost oily. The long finish carries the dried fruit and oak notes through to a slight dryness. Overall impression: A rich and warm wine, where the fruitiness blends with generous oak notes against a creamy texture and a lovely length.
