Appearance: Dark, brilliant amber Nose: A subtle nose, where caramel blends with candied citrus and a floral note. Palate: The palate is more expressive, opening with the sweetness of caramel and molasses, followed by dried fruit and then peppery spices. The texture is silky and rounded, with a slight dryness that brings no bitterness whatsoever. The balance is well maintained right through to a long, smooth finish. Overall impression: A rounded and well-balanced wine, more expressive on the palate than on the nose, carried by a caramelised sweetness and a long finish.
