Appearance: Deep, clear amber Nose: An expressive nose, blending dried and nutty fruits, ripe yellow fruits and vanilla. Palate: The attack is lively and fresh, then opens up to reveal sugar cane, walnut and pronounced oak, softened by sweet notes of vanilla. The palate is round and well-structured, with just the right balance. The semi-dry finish, of medium length, leaves a slight tannic astringency. Overall impression: A rich and balanced wine, where dried fruit and vanilla harmonise with pronounced oak, despite a slight astringency on the finish.
