Tasting notes

Appearance: Dark, clear amber Nose: Vanilla and caramel dominate, enhanced by mild spices and a hint of chocolate. Palate: Flavours of chocolate and coffee are underpinned by well-integrated oak and warm spices, which support a moderate acidity. The body is medium, characterised by a slight tannic astringency. The long finish leaves a spicy aftertaste. Overall impression: A balanced and expressive wine, where the sweetness of vanilla harmonises with the spices, despite a slight astringency.
