Appearance: Pale, limpid golden colour. Nose: The aromatic profile reveals expressive notes of fresh, cooked plum, accompanied by delicate floral nuances and hints of jam. Palate: The attack is unctuous, with well-balanced plum flavours enriched by caramel, vanilla and marzipan. The whole remains round and fruity, enhanced by chocolate notes and a delicate woodiness with toasty accents. The finish is long and smooth, although the alcohol sometimes comes through a little. Overall impression: A well-balanced, harmonious spirit with a pronounced fruity and floral character, which could do with more body to fully reveal its aromatic complexity.
