Appearance: Orangey gold, opalescent. Nose: Elderflower dominates the aromatic expression, accompanied by notes of honey, tangerine and fresh tropical fruit which add a lovely floral complexity. Palate: The attack reveals a soft, creamy texture in which the sugar comes through clearly. The development maintains the dominant floral character with notes of sponge cake, while a certain bitterness and alcoholic presence support the tasting. The finish retains this floral expression with a satisfactory overall balance, despite some harsh aromas that are not fully integrated. Overall impression: A complex spirit with a marked floral character and an overall good balance that would benefit from a minor adjustment between sweetness and bitterness.
