Nose: The nose reveals a complex bouquet of fresh vanilla, caramel and honey, accompanied by fruity notes of ripe banana and red fruit, with hints of chocolate and coffee. Palate: The attack is soft, with lingering flavours of caramel and vanilla. Fruity aromas of banana and cooked apple are accompanied by toasty and spicy notes. The finish has a few herbaceous touches, although the alcohol can be a little bitter at times. Overall impression: A spirit with a pleasant character, offering aromatic complexity despite an intensity on the palate that doesn't always live up to the promise of the nose.
