Palate: The dry, intense attack reveals peppery spices and citrus, enhanced by a hint of saltiness. A smoky note and lingering floral notes then emerge, carried by a slight astringency tempered by a hint of sweetness. The balance is maintained right through to a long finish, with the alcohol remaining well integrated. Overall impression: Elegant and complex, with a lovely interplay between vegetal, floral and peppery spice notes, along with a subtle smokiness, leading to a lingering finish.
