An open, rich nose with aromas of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel, with hints of chocolate and coffee. On the palate, the attack is supple and the balance is excellent. The flavour profile reveals notes of liquorice and honey, with a long finish and lovely complexity. A touch of bitterness rounds the whole off.
