Tasting notes

Appearance: Clear, brilliant amber colour. Nose: An open aromatic palette dominated by candied fruit and pineapple, accompanied by fine spices such as cinnamon and vanilla, enhanced by notes of caramel and honey. Palate: The attack is supple, then develops into a round texture with complex flavours combining dried fruit, orange marmalade and sweet spices. The whole is quite powerful, with a sometimes overpowering alcohol that occasionally detracts from the overall balance. The finish brings a welcome freshness and gourmet sweetness, albeit marked by a slight astringency. Overall impression: A spirit with an assertive character offering an interesting richness of flavour, despite a perfectible alcoholic integration that divides palates.
