Palate: The attack, smooth and sweet, opens with caramel before giving way to more intense fruit and spice notes. The texture is full-bodied, with a slightly pronounced alcoholic warmth. The finish, long and slightly dry, carries the fruitiness through and ends on a note of chocolate. Overall impression: A rich and intense blend, where the sweetness of the caramel harmonises with the fruit and spices, despite a slightly noticeable warmth.
