Appearance: Deep amber with coppery highlights, limpid and brilliant. Nose: The bouquet is rich and delicious, combining butterscotch, cocoa, honey and candied oranges. Hints of wood, light tobacco and vanilla add depth and elegance. Palate: The attack is soft and silky, marked by the caramel and vanilla notes detected on the nose, supported by hints of toasted oak and yellow fruit. The balance between sweetness and woody structure is harmonious, although the texture sometimes lacks fullness and the finish is shorter than expected, with a slight spicy dryness. Overall impression: An expressive, refined rum with a remarkably rich, harmonious nose. The palate is more restrained, but elegant and well-balanced, without reaching the complexity initially suggested.
