Appearance: Dark, brilliant amber Nose: The nose combines woody and vanilla notes with ripe fruit, against a vegetal backdrop. Palate: The attack is supple and beautifully smooth, opening up to sweet spices and indulgent chocolate notes. The texture, almost oily, is underpinned by light tannins that balance the sweetness. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of dried fruit and wood. Overall impression: A complex and balanced wine, where the rich sweetness harmonises with the spices and oaky notes, despite a hint of warmth.
