Tasting notes

Appearance: Golden amber, brilliant Nose: Of medium intensity, the nose combines vanilla and honey with ripe fruit, against a woody, slightly peaty backdrop. Palate: The attack, smooth and round, develops a silky texture underpinned by notes of cereal and nuts. Wood and a delicately smoky peat then come to the fore, with a hint of spice and a slight astringency, whilst the alcohol remains well integrated. The balanced finish prolongs the peat with good length. Overall impression: An elegant and balanced whisky, where the sweetness of vanilla and cereal harmonises with smoky peat against a silky texture.
