Appearance: Dark, brilliant amber Nose: The nose combines dried fruit, toasted wood and notes of vanilla and caramel. Palate: The attack is smooth, driven by caramel and vanilla, before the toasted oak takes over with hints of chocolate. Light to medium in intensity, the palate remains balanced with the alcohol well integrated. The finish, of medium length, leaves a slight bitterness. Overall impression: A smooth and balanced overall impression, where the dried fruit gradually gives way to toasty, vanilla-tinged oak.
