Mild spices then take over, with a refined texture and medium body, offering good balance despite a noticeable warmth. The finish, of moderate length, leaves a light woody note and a hint of bitterness. Overall impression: A well-rounded and elegant whisky, where the sweetness harmonises with the oak and spices, despite a slightly short finish.
