Appearance: Clear, crystalline and brilliant. Nose: The aromatic expression reveals mainly toasted agave notes accompanied by a pronounced smokiness, with hints of citrus fruit, dried herbs and a few vegetal touches. Palate: The attack is straightforward, with a noticeable alcoholic intensity, quickly giving way to a dominant smokiness that evokes ashes and tobacco leaves. The complexity is enriched by earthy notes, spices and a few floral nuances, but the balance sometimes suffers from an excessive predominance of smoke. The finish is beautifully long, with a remarkable persistence of toasty aromas. Overall impression: An expressive, complex spirit whose aromatic richness is sometimes masked by the intensity of its smoky character.
