Appearance: Golden amber, brilliant Nose: The nose opens with oak and sweet spices, underpinned by rich notes of vanilla and caramel. Palate: On the palate, ripe and dried fruit gives way to notes of chocolate and coffee. The texture is smooth, with medium body, and the whole remains well-balanced. The finish, of medium length, is characterised by oak, which somewhat overshadows the other flavours. Overall impression: A rich and balanced wine, where the fruitiness and sweet spices harmonise with the chocolate, despite a slightly pronounced oaky finish.
