Tasting notes

Appearance: Golden amber, brilliant Nose: The nose opens with ripe, candied fruit, enveloped in vanilla and caramel. Palate: On the palate, the rich and creamy attack develops into notes of butter caramel accompanied by dried fruit and a hint of toasty oak. A slight astringency provides structure and balances the sweetness, whilst the alcohol remains well integrated. The finish, long and rather dry, ends with a hint of pepper. Overall impression: A rich and balanced wine, where the sweetness of the caramel and ripe fruit is underpinned by well-integrated oak and a creamy texture.
