Palate: The palate, intense and dry, combines smoky notes with candied fruit, enhanced by mild spices and a hint of liquorice. The warmth of the alcohol is noticeable without disrupting the fine balance. The finish, dry and fairly long, carries the smokiness through. Overall impression: A clean and balanced overall impression, where the fruitiness blends intensely with the smokiness, despite a slight warmth.
