Appearance: Colourless, clear, brilliant Nose: The nose opens with notes of fresh sugar cane and cut grass, enhanced by tropical fruits. Palate: On the palate, tropical fruit and cane juice are underpinned by earthy notes and a hint of pepper. The structure is concentrated and round, with a fine balance between sweetness and acidity, although the warmth of the alcohol tends to take the upper hand. The finish is long and retains vegetal notes. Overall impression: An expressive and well-structured whisky, where the cane and tropical fruit rest on a powerful structure, despite a slight warmth.
