Palate: The attack is powerful, marked by a distinct alcoholic warmth that gives way to zesty lemon and stone fruits underscored by a hint of caramel. The texture, oily and slightly sharp, gains depth but also reveals a touch of bitterness. The finish is long, dry and spicy. Overall impression: A clean, fruity wine with a distinct character; its pronounced warmth would benefit from being softened to achieve a smoother texture.
