Tasting notes

Appearance: Clear, golden colour. Nose: The bouquet opens with a fruity palette dominated by apple, peach and pear, supported by hints of malt, toast and vanilla. Some expressions reveal drier, slightly dusty notes, which at times attenuate the aromatic purity. Palate: The attack is fresh and expressive, revealing flavours of barley and sweet spices such as cinnamon, followed by accents of ripe fruit, banana and caramel. The texture offers good consistency, with an alcoholic intensity that is sometimes marked but well-integrated overall. The finish, which varies in length depending on the expression, retains a warm, slightly rustic profile. Overall impression: A sincere, expressive whisky, with a fine fruity and malty base, but still showing some irregularities in balance and aromatic definition.
