Appearance: Amber-coloured, clear, brilliant Nose: The nose, rather subtle, opens with oak and caramel, underpinned by notes of cereal. Palate: On the palate, the caramel is accompanied by a hint of orange before giving way to a pronounced peppery note. The full-bodied, oily texture reveals a slight woody astringency, in a balance where the alcohol blends harmoniously. The finish, long and warm, lingers on the spices and caramelised sugar with a hint of saltiness. Overall impression: A balanced and well-integrated whole, where caramel and oak blend with the spices, despite a somewhat reserved nose.
