The flavours evolve along toasty, coffee and caramel lines, enriched by dried fruit and a slight iodine dimension. The finish develops smoky and vegetal nuances with an interesting persistence. Overall impression: A well-balanced, complex spirit, with a fine aromatic intensity despite a relatively marked oakiness.
