Tasting notes

Appearance: Deep, clear amber Nose: Dominant notes of aniseed and liquorice, complemented by citrus and aromatic herbs. Palate: Intense and full-bodied, the palate combines a bitterness that is both herbaceous and fruity with notes of bitter orange and raisins, enhanced by mild spices. The rounded texture complements a fine balance between sweetness, bitterness and a slight tang, with the alcohol remaining well integrated. The long finish ends on a slightly pronounced bitterness which detracts from its freshness. Overall impression: An intense and complex blend, where notes of aniseed and herbs harmonise with citrus fruits in a fine balance between sweetness and bitterness, despite a slightly bitter finish.
