Palate: The attack is powerful, with the smoke taking on a charred quality against a backdrop of cooked vegetables and peppery spices. The texture is of medium density, with a slight residual sweetness and a somewhat pronounced alcoholic warmth. The finish remains slightly spicy, with a hint of vanilla. Overall impression: A smoky and vegetal profile, with lovely aromatic diversity on the palate, despite a rather subdued nose and alcohol that would benefit from being better integrated.
